United Way of West Florida COVID-19 Response Fund
In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic facing our nation and community, United Way of West Florida launched a response fund to support those affected in our community. As schools, businesses, and public establishments in our community close, we understand that people's ways of life are being significantly impacted. Hours are being cut, services are being eliminated, and wages are being lost.
The UWWF COVID-19 Response Fund has supported families within Escambia and Santa Rosa counties that are struggling to keep their lights on or pay their bills. It has ensured that seniors and veterans have food on their plates and provided relief to households that can't access adequate childcare or fill emergency prescriptions. It provided support to nonprofit agencies and programs to nonprofit programs providing critical services to our community.
