Open Positions
Healthy Schools Escambia Program Director
The Healthy Schools Escambia Program Director provides leadership and direction to the Health Schools Escambia initiative in selected Escambia County School District. The Program Director will work closely with the Healthy Schools Escambia steering committee to develop and implement the initiative. This position will oversee the schools’ Program Coordinators. This is a year-round position. The director will work predominately at assigned schools and periodically at the United Way Office.
Office Coordinator
The Office Coordinator will provide payroll and human resources support to the Director of Operations. In addition, this position will provide general administrative support related to the Healthy Schools Escambia Initiative as well to the UWWF team including managing calendars for common spaces, restocking supplies, and submitting maintenance requests as needed.
Healthy Schools Escambia Program Coordinator
The Healthy Schools Escambia Program Coordinator works closely with agencies and school personnel to implement the CDC’s Whole Schools, Whole Community, Whole Child model in the selected school. This is a year-round position. The Coordinator will work at assigned school and periodically at the United Way Office.
Accounting Assistant
The Accounting Assistant provides clerical and accounting support for the Director of Finance. As such, this position is a key member of the Finance Team. The Accounting Assistant provides the support necessary to ensure that financial records are up to date and reports are submitted in a timely manner.
Internships
Marketing and Special Events Intern
The Marketing and Special Events Internship is designed to provide professional experience in the areas of Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, Marketing, Media Relations, and Fundraising/Event Planning. This internship position is ideal for a university undergraduate student using the internship for university credit.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma prior to the start date of the internship. Internships are not paid positions and follow the academic calendars of post-secondary institutions. Hours per week are dependent upon course requirements and/or position descriptions. All other requirements are listed in the position descriptions.
