United Way of West Florida offers free tax assistance programs for individuals and families with low to moderate income.
VITA(Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) sites are operated by IRS partners such as United Way of West Florida and are staffed by volunteers who want to make a difference in their communities. All VITA volunteers who prepare returns must take and pass tax law training that meets or exceeds IRS standards. This training includes maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of all taxpayer information.
Summer VITA Hours:
All office hours will be 10 am to 2 pm
Florida Blue: July 12, August 9, and September 13

It's as easy as uploading a funny picture to share with friends on social media and no appointment is needed to file on your own.
If you have any questions about the program or are unable to set up an appointment on your own due to internet access, reach out to vita@uwwf.org or call (850)912-8245.
VITA is funded through grants awarded to United Way of West Florida by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, Internal Revenue Service, and United Way Worldwide. Additional support is provided by Florida Blue, Pensacola State College, University of West Florida, and GoodWill Gulf Coast.
