Mini Grants

United Way of West Florida (UWWF) Mini Grants are available to grassroots nonprofits meeting needs in underreached communities. Mini Grant funding can only be used for capacity-building efforts. This funding will be used to strengthen the structure of a nonprofit to sustain services offered within the community.

The maximum funding available is up to $5,000 per nonprofit.

Capacity-building funding options:

  • Professional development/training fees (i.e., how to collect data, diversity, Board training)
  • Accounting services
  • Consulting fees
  • Organizational expenses (except salaries)

Funds can NOT be used for:

  • salaries,
  • reimbursements,
  • matching funds,

  • event planning/volunteer appreciation

Mini grants will NOT be awarded to 2024-2025 United Way of West Florida Community Investment Grant-funded agencies. Visit uwwf.org/funded-partners to learn more.
